Successful organization of blood donation camp – “Blood donation: A great donation” realized
Kharghar, June 25:
“Blood donation has always been considered the best donation” – realizing this spirit, Media 9 Digital Seva Sanstha, The Cause of Travelers Social Welfare Organization, and D.Y. Patil Hospital jointly organized a grand blood donation camp at Kharghar Railway Station.
The event was organized on June 25, in which people of different age groups – women, youth, children and the elderly participated enthusiastically and contributed to the service of humanity by donating blood. The aim of the camp was not only to provide blood to the needy, but also to promote the importance of blood donation in the society.
The camp was conducted under the able leadership of Mr. Rajshekhar Chilana, Chairman of The Cause of Travelers and Dhanashree Madam, Secretary of Media 9 Digital Seva Sanstha. A team of doctors from D.Y. Patil Hospital was also present in the program, who provided technical and medical assistance.
These organizations are not only working in the field of blood donation, but are also constantly working for organ donation and helping children suffering from thalassemia.
On this occasion, while talking to Media 9, Mr. Rajasekhar Chilana, Chairman of The Cause of Travelers, said,
“Blood donation is life-saving. We all should come forward and donate blood from time to time, because one unit of blood can change someone’s entire life.”
