In a remarkable initiative aimed at promoting the health and well-being of the elderly, The Cause Travellers Social Welfare Organisation and Media 9 Digital Media Seva Sanstha. jointly, in collaboration with Raigad Hospital & Research Centre, organised a free health check-up camp for the senior women residents of Jyothi’s Care Centre, Taloja.
A dedicated team of 12 doctors and paramedical staff, led by Col. Dr. Kushagra Patel, CEO of Raigad Hospital, conducted comprehensive health screenings for 25 senior citizens. The medical services provided included ECG, blood sugar tests, blood pressure monitoring, and eye check-ups.
Col. Dr. Kushagra Patel personally attended to each patient, issuing detailed prescriptions and offering advice for further treatment. In a commendable and compassionate move, he announced that all subsequent treatments for these residents would be provided free of cost at Raigad Hospital. To further support their well-being, a one-month supply of prescribed medicines was distributed on the spot.
Mr. Ravinder Setia, Secretary of The Cause Travellers, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the medical team for their dedicated and selfless service. Mr. Bhal Shekhar Chilana, President of The Cause Travellers, extended thanks to the management and staff of Jyothi’s Care Centre for allowing the organisation the opportunity to serve the elderly community.
